Ingredients

2 lb bone-in beef or pork short ribs

1 bottle Mesa de Vida Globally Inspired Cooking Sauce - Creole, Latin, Mediterranean or Moroccan flavor

2 cups vegetables of your choice (sliced onion, diced carrot, celery, bell pepper, mushrooms; dried prunes go great with the Latin, Moroccan or Mediterranean flavor; dried apricots go great with the Moroccan flavor)

Salt to taste/health needs

Optional addition: 1/4 cup red or white wine
Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Season meat with salt and pepper to taste

In a large oven-proof Dutch Oven or skillet with high sides, heat pan over medium-high heat. Sear meat on all sides until golden brown

Optional if using wine: add wine to the skillet, cook 30 seconds

Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine, transfer pot or skillet to the oven

Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the meat is tender and fully cooked
