Makes 4-6 servings.

This versatile recipe uses any protein and vegetables you have on hand, and works with any of our sauces.

The recipe can be made into a soup or a stew, also. It's the perfect go-to recipe for vibrant, delicious meals that take hardly any work, and just a few ingredients!

This recipe can be made oil free, vegetarian, Paleo or Whole30 friendly, for the Carnivore Diet, dairy free, gluten free, and so much more!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of protein (boneless chicken breast or thighs, whole pork tenderloin, sausages, ground meat, or plant-based protein), or 2 cups cooked beans, or 2 lb bone-in protein cuts (bone-in chicken portions, short ribs, pork ribs, chuck roast, pork chops, etc.)
  • 2 cups diced or cubed vegetables of your choice (onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, eggplant, sweet potato, zucchini, dried fruit)
  • 1 bottle Mesa de Vida Globally Inspired Cooking Sauce of your choice
  • Salt to taste/health needs
  • Optional: 1-2 cups of broth or wine for soups, stews, or if more sauce is desired

Directions

  1. Sear protein if desired. Add ingredients to the slow cooker, stir to combine
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, 4 hours for diced meats/vegetarian recipes
