Ingredients

  • 2 lb bone-in protein cuts (bone-in lamb, beef chuck roast, or beef spare ribs), or 1-½ lb boneless protein cuts (lamb, beef chuck roast, beef flank steak, or boneless beef spare ribs)
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 bottle Mesa de Vida Latin Inspired Cooking Sauce
  • 1-½ cups beef broth
  • Salt to taste/health needs (about 1 to 1-1/2 tsp, you may like more or less, taste and adjust after cooking)
  • Serve with fresh diced onion and cilantro

Directions

  1. Sear protein if desired. Add ingredients to the slow cooker, stir to combine
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the meat is fall-apart tender. Shred and enjoy
  3. Oven-Braised method: After searing the meat add ingredients to an oven-proof dish and cover tightly. Braise for 60-90 minutes or until the meat falls off the bone. Shred and enjoy
