Ingredients

3/4 lb ground meat or plant-based meat alternative

1 bottle Mesa de Vida Globally Inspired Cooking Sauce - any flavor

2 cups diced vegetables of your choice (onions, bell peppers, carrots, zucchini, frozen corn)

1 can rinsed and drain beans (kidney, pinto, black, garbanzo/chickpea, lentils, cannellini, etc.)

1 can diced tomatoes

Salt to taste/health needs
Directions

Heat a soup pot or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground protein until golden brown

Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, then lower the heat to low

Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Serve on it's own or over rice, pasta, couscous, quinoa, polenta, mashed potatoes, or with your favorite bread or tortillas on the side.
