Quick Healthy Stovetop Chili Recipe - Choose Your Globally Inspired Flavor Adventure

Use any ground protein, vegetables, beans and Mesa de Vida globally inspired cooking sauce to make a healthy and flavorful quick stovetop chili any night of the week!

Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground meat or plant-based meat alternative
  • 1 bottle Mesa de Vida Globally Inspired Cooking Sauce - any flavor
  • 2 cups diced vegetables of your choice (onions, bell peppers, carrots, zucchini, frozen corn)
  • 1 can rinsed and drain beans (kidney, pinto, black, garbanzo/chickpea, lentils, cannellini, etc.)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • Salt to taste/health needs

Directions

  1. Heat a soup pot or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground protein until golden brown
  2. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, then lower the heat to low
  3. Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Serve on it's own or over rice, pasta, couscous, quinoa, polenta, mashed potatoes, or with your favorite bread or tortillas on the side.
